How do they do this?

Using high-density air coil technology and electronic refrigerant control to achieve variable-capacity cooling and heating. The earth loop is made of polyethylene tubing and fittings, this tube is extremely efficient and will provide years of dependable service. The tube is buried 8 feet underground where the earth temperature is between 45° to 50° all year long. It is from here that the Geothermal pump will get energy to transfer heat to the house in the cold months and transfer heat out of the house in the warmer months.
